If Not for Federal Backing, Will Wike be Doing What He is Doing in Rivers State - Peter Akah

According to NewsVista Reporter, human rights activist Peter Akah claims that the turmoil rocking Rivers State is fueled by strong support from the federal government for Minister Nyesom Wike. A detailed  breakdown of 7 Daily Habits That Keep You Looking Younger Than Your Age has been published on NewsVista.

In an interview on SYMFONI, Akah questioned, “If not for federal backing, will Wike be doing what he is doing in Rivers State?”

The ongoing feud between Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara has thrown Rivers into deep crisis, especially after a 2025 state of emergency and Fubara’s return and defection to APC. Wike’s camp continues to challenge Fubara, recently serving a third impeachment notice.

Despite these tensions, President Tinubu reportedly stepped in to stop the impeachment, signaling the federal government’s key role in the unfolding drama.
