Video: Comedian Princewill’s ex-wife alleges repeated domestic violence during their marriage, says she lived in fear

The ex-wife of comedian Princewill has publicly shared her side of their marriage, alleging that she endured repeated domestic violence before their separation.

In a lengthy video, she said she had remained silent for a long time out of fear, anxiety and a desire for peace, but decided to speak after what she described as false narratives about the collapse of their marriage began circulating online.

She denied allegations that she was unfaithful, insisting that infidelity was never cited in the divorce petition. Instead, she alleged that the marriage broke down due to repeated physical abuse and her ex-husband's alleged infidelity.

According to her, the alleged incidents of domestic violence were reported to the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, where both parties later underwent mediation before eventually separating.

Addressing the viral video of Princewill's altercation with her cousin, she claimed her cousin had been staying with her to help care for her and her children while she recovered from childbirth. She alleged the confrontation occurred after Princewill came to the house despite their separation and an argument ensued.

The mother of two also revealed that she and one of her children are still undergoing therapy following the events. She added that she has received threats and appealed to the public to hold those she named accountable if anything happens to her or her family.
