Rivers State FA/Keves Global Football Competition Closes Registration at Full Capacity for 4th Edition

The Rivers State Football Association, in partnership with Keves Global, has officially closed registration for the 4th edition of the Rivers State FA/Keves Global Football Competition following an overwhelming response from clubs across the state. 

A total of 40 teams will feature in this year’s tournament, comprising 32 amateur clubs and 8 All Stars teams. Organizers have confirmed that the registration window is now closed. 

Now in its fourth consecutive year, the competition has become a flagship grassroots initiative in Rivers State. The sustained interest reflects the Rivers State FA’s growing impact in structuring competitive football, promoting transparency, and creating pathways for talent development. 

Tournament officials noted that the 40-club format is designed to maintain competitive balance while offering both emerging amateur sides and established All Stars teams a credible platform to showcase talent. 

With registration concluded, focus now shifts to the next phase. The Rivers State FA is expected to announce the official draw, a capacity building seminar, match fixtures, and the kick-off date in the coming days. 

The 4th edition is expected to further raise the standard of amateur football in the state and strengthen the pipeline for talent discovery and professional progression.
