What I Saw Will Happen If They Don’t Manage The 2027 Presidential Election Properly - Ayodele Reveals
In a recent video on Facebook, Popular Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has called for prayers and caution ahead of Nigeria’s forthcoming elections, warning that mismanagement of the process could have far-reaching consequences for major political parties and the country’s democratic stability.
In a recent address, Ayodele stressed the need for both spiritual and practical efforts to ensure a peaceful electoral process.
“Let us pray that this should not happen,” he said. “Let’s pray that it shouldn’t happen.”
The cleric warned that failure to properly manage the elections could lead to serious disruptions that might affect leading political parties, including People’s Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC), and African Democratic Congress (ADC).
“It might lead to the end of PDP, APC, ADC if it is election and if they don’t manage it properly,” Ayodele cautioned.
He further alleged that external forces are already working to destabilize the electoral process, describing the situation as highly sensitive.
“Because there are external forces that want to disrupt this election. This election is do or die—that is what they plan,” he said.
Ayodele, however, clarified that his warning should not be misinterpreted as a prediction that elections would not hold, but rather a caution about the consequences of poor management.
“You may not understand my English yet, but anybody can twist it. I didn’t say there will be no election. I didn’t say so,” he explained.
The cleric emphasized that with proper handling, the situation could still be controlled and the elections conducted successfully.
“If they are not careful, if they don’t manage it well—except they manage it well, except they do,” he added, trailing off while reiterating the importance of proactive measures.
