Serial K+ller Who Confessed To 23 M¥rders Gets Sentenced To Life Imprisonment

A High Court in Wa, Ghana, has sentenced serial k+ller Shariff Abdulai, also known as “Cristos”, to life imprisonment for multiple m¥rders, including the k+lling of Issah Yahaya.

The verdict was announced in a statement by the Ghana Police Force. According to the statement, Abdulai pleaded guilty in court and admitted to k+lling 23 people across different parts of the country.

Upper West Regional Police Commander Francis Yiribaare disclosed that the convict confessed to m¥rdering 16 people in Wa, five in Bole, and one each in Banda Nkwanta and Bamboi.

Abdulai was arrested on October 6, 2025, after intelligence-led operations by security agencies. His case was first heard at a District Magistrate Court before being committed to the High Court.

He appeared before the High Court on March 4, 2026, where he pleaded guilty to the charges. The presiding judge, Osi-Wusu Antwi , subsequently sentenced him to life imprisonment with hard labour.
