Atiku Abubakar Reacts To The Comment That Dino Melaye Made After He Saw Him Walking To The Podium

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar, has responded to a lighthearted remark made by former Kogi senator Dino Melaye during a recent public event.

In a video shared on the official X account of Channels TV on Saturday, February 28, 2026, Atiku is seen walking toward the podium to address attendees. As he approached, Dino Melaye praised his posture and composure, telling the crowd that the former Vice President was still “gallant.”

Melaye remarked that Atiku was walking confidently and did not look like someone about to stumble. He described him as moving “like a soldier” and emphasized that he appeared strong and steady.  

In response, Atiku briefly interrupted with a smile and told Melaye to stop making such comments, saying, “Dino, stop,” prompting laughter from the audience.

The moment appeared to be a friendly exchange between the two politicians and has since circulated widely on social media.
