Wike Saying Anyone Who Doesn’t Support Certain Candidates Wont Win Is Form Of Intimidation-Abdullahi

 Bolaji Abdullahi has stated that the kind of rhetoric emerging from the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, saying that anyone who does not support certain candidates will not win the election is preposterous and wrong. He explained that such statements constitute a form of intimidation.

Abdullahi stated that the ADC believes it is the people of FCT who will decide the outcome of the election, not any government or agents of government. He noted that such statements coming from the Minister of FCT are wrong and constitute a threat to the democratic practice in Nigeria.

Bolaji Abdullahi said: “The kind of rhetoric emerging from the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, saying that anyone who doesn’t support certain candidates will not win the election, we think this is preposterous and it is wrong and is a form of intimidation. That’s why we said it is the people of FCT that will decide the outcome of the election, not any government or agents of government. Those kind of statements coming from the Minister of FCT, it is wrong and it constitutes a threat to the democratic practice in Nigeria.”
