Rumueme Kingdom in Rivers State Gets a New Paramount Ruler

 

According to tradition, Dr. Larry Azunda Nsirim, son of the late king, has been installed as the new Paramount Ruler of Rumueme Kingdom.

The traditional “capping” ceremony took place today, Monday, January 19, 2026, marking the formal ascension of the new monarch.

He will now be addressed as HRM King Dr. Larry Azunda Nsirim, Nyenwe-Eli and Paramount Ruler of Rumueme Kingdom.
