Rivers: The Chief Judge Was Appointed By Wike; Fubara Didn’t Make the Appointment

According to our reporter, Maobuye Obu, Ijaw Youth Council General Secretary, highlighted on Channels TV that the Rivers State Chief Judge, central to impeachment proceedings against Governor Fubara, was appointed by former governor Nyesom Wike not Fubara himself. 

Obu stressed this link is crucial amid the ongoing political conflict, urging attention to judicial neutrality.
