Fubara: He Went For Wike’s Jugular And Wike Is A Survivalist, Wike Dealt With Him Squarely - Fanimo
Dele Fanimo, a political and public affairs analyst, has stated that Governor Siminalayi Fubara became governor of Rivers State without spending his own money on the election. Fanimo said that Fubara’s candidacy was fully supported and funded by his political benefactor, former Governor Nyesom Wike. He stated that Fubara failed to learn from the experiences of others who rose to power through the support of political godfathers.
In an interview with Voice of the People TV, Fanimo said that after becoming governor, Fubara decided to fight Wike. He said Wike, being a political survivalist, dealt with Fubara “roundly and squarely”
In Fanimo’s words: “He did not learn from those who rode on the crest of godfathers to positions, he felt because he has that pseudo security of holding on to the reigns of power in Rivers State he went for Wike’s jugular and of course Wike is a survivalist, he dealt with him roundly and squarely and he was scampering at the end of the day”
