You Always Have The Right To Change Your Mind, Even At The Wedding Altar — Media Mogul Oprah Winfrey

Media mogul and television personality, Oprah Winfrey, has said people have the right to change their minds about getting married, even when wedding preparations are already underway.

Winfrey made the statement during a recent interview on The Mel Robbins Podcast, where she reflected on a major decision she made in her own life and the lesson she learned from it.

“You always have the right to change your mind. If the people are in the church, sitting in the pews, and you’re getting ready to walk down the aisle and you know inside yourself, I should not be marrying this person, you always have the right to change your mind.”

Winfrey further stressed that having already made preparations for a wedding should not prevent someone from reconsidering the decision.

“But the invitations have gone out. You always have the right to change your mind.”
