NDDC Flags Off Rehabilitation of Failed Sections of Effurun–Benin Expressway

NDDC under the leadership of its CEO/MD, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has flagged off the emergency intervention and rehabilitation of failed sections of the Effurun–Benin Express Road in Delta State.

The project covers the Ajomata/Ibada-Elume–Amukpe–Oghara section and is aimed at improving road connectivity, transportation and economic activities across the Niger Delta region.

The flag-off ceremony was held on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Amukpe Roundabout along the Benin–Sapele Road.
