Fubara to Back Wike’s Rainbow Coalition Candidate - Chief Ambrose Nwuzi Reveals 2027 Plan

A prominent political figure and stakeholder in Rivers State, Chief Ambrose Nwuzi, has made a sweeping prediction regarding the 2027 electoral cycle, revealing that Governor Siminalayi Fubara will ultimately support a candidate produced by the political coalition aligned with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Speaking during a recent public broadcast, Chief Nwuzi provided an extensive analysis of the ongoing political realignments within the state and the broader implications for the next general elections.

The outspoken political leader asserted that despite the highly publicized internal friction between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, the underlying political structures in Rivers State remain intricately connected to Wike’s influence.

Chief Nwuzi described the FCT Minister’s political machinery as a massive “rainbow coalition,” capable of completely dominating the political landscape and dictating the direction of the state’s electoral outcomes.

According to him, the current political survival of the incumbent governor heavily relies on maintaining strategic peace with this established coalition rather than attempting to build a fully independent structure.

He boldly predicted that as the 2027 elections approach, Governor Fubara will find it politically necessary to back the specific consensus candidate endorsed by Wike’s camp to avoid total political isolation.

The chief maintained that the perceived political crisis currently rocking the state is merely a temporary power struggle that will naturally resolve itself into a unified front led by the FCT Minister.

Chief Nwuzi warned opposition figures within the state against miscalculating the strength of the Wike coalition, insisting that it remains the sole deciding factor in Rivers State politics.

Spokespersons for Governor Fubara have not yet responded to these bold assertions regarding his future political loyalties and the 2027 strategy.
