A Nigerian girl identified as Ngufan, who was reportedly tr@fficked to Mali, has d+ed under circumstances that remain unclear.

The incident was disclosed by anti-human trafficking activist Zege Orkwande in a Facebook post on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Orkwande, who has been involved in the rescue of Benue girls tr@fficked to several African countries for prost+tution, announced the victim’s de@th and appealed for assistance in identifying her relatives.

According to the activist, details surrounding Ngufan’s de@th are still unknown as efforts continue to gather more information about the incident.

The activist called on anyone who may know the deceased or her family members to come forward so that her relatives can be contacted.
