Police Begin Investigation After G¥nmen K+ll Retired OGTV Broadcaster, Kitan Oyesiku and Security Guard in Ogun State
The Ogun State Police Command has commenced an investigation into the de@ths of retired Ogun State Television (OGTV) broadcaster, Kitan Oyesiku, and her security guard, whose bodies were discovered at her residence in Iyana Agodo Village.
According to the police, the incident was reported after a concerned resident noticed unusual activity around the property and alerted authorities. Detectives who responded to the scene reportedly found signs of forced entry and evidence of disturbance within the compound.
During a search of the premises, officers discovered the body of the security guard in the security post, while Oyesiku was found de@d inside her apartment. Police also revealed that the deceased broadcaster’s vehicle was missing from the residence.
The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered a full-scale investigation into the incident, with security operatives intensifying efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible.
Authorities said intelligence-led and surveillance operations have been expanded to aid the investigation, while urging members of the public with useful information to come forward.
