Go To School, You Refused- Lere Olayinka Jabs Isaac Fayose Over Withdrawn & Refiled Lawsuit In Court
Media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Lere Olayinka, has taken a swipe at social commentator Isaac Fayose over the ongoing legal battle between them, mocking him for allegedly withdrawing a defamation suit before seeking to relist it.
In a post shared on social media, Olayinka recounted how Fayose had publicly announced last year that he had filed a defamation lawsuit against him. According to Olayinka, he responded by instituting his own defamation suit against Fayose.
Olayinka claimed that Fayose later approached the court on his own to withdraw the case he filed against him, leading to its dismissal.
“By himself, he went to court to withdraw his suit against me and the case was dismissed by the court,” Olayinka stated.
He added that while Fayose’s case was withdrawn, his own suit against the social media personality remains active and that he has already appeared in court to present evidence.
The media aide expressed surprise that Fayose had returned to court seeking to relist the withdrawn case, allegedly claiming that he had been deceived into discontinuing the lawsuit.
“Now, he has returned to the court to say that he was deceived to withdraw the suit and that he wants to relist it. Who deceived him? Na me?” Olayinka queried.
Mocking Fayose over the development, Olayinka argued that legal procedures surrounding the withdrawal of court cases are well-established and require proper documentation and agreement among parties where settlements are involved.
He further ridiculed Fayose, suggesting that a better educational background would have helped him understand the legal implications of withdrawing a lawsuit.
Sebi if Social Media Billionaire Isaac didn’t run away from school, he will know that you don’t go to court to withdraw a suit without proper discussions with all parties to the suit,” Olayinka said.
The exchange is the latest chapter in the public feud between the two personalities, with both men pursuing legal action against each other over alleged defamatory statements. The matter is expected to continue in court as proceedings unfold.
