18 Farmers K+lled, Several Inj¥red In Plateau Village Att@ck

 At least 18 farmers have been k+lled and several others inj¥red after armed men attacked Kawel village in Mushere District of Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.

The att@ck reportedly happened around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday when g¥nmen invaded the community and opened fire on residents. Bokkos Youth Leader, Christopher Luka, said more than 20 people were sh%t during the incident, with 18 confirmed de@d.

He explained that a member of the local youth council alerted him during the att@ck, after which he immediately informed security operatives in the area. According to him, security personnel confirmed they were already aware of the situation and were on their way to the community.

Luka described the incident as unprovoked and urged security agencies to take swift action to prevent further attacks in the area.

The incident occurred just days after the k+lling of the District Head of Gwande in the same local government area, who was ambushed while returning from a traditional council meeting.
