Wike:They Allowed You, You’re Not Satisfied, Go With Your Structure, Cook And Eat Your Structure-Igbe

Chief Anabs Sara-Igbe has criticised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State involving Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Speaking during an interview on SYMFONI TV, Sara-Igbe accused Wike of refusing to accept political realities despite being given control of major political structures in the state. According to him, those loyal to Wike were allowed to participate freely in the political process, but still remained unhappy after losing elections.

He also questioned the Supreme Court decision that cancelled the local government election, arguing that the election had enough notice and was conducted more openly than previous ones. Sara-Igbe said many Rivers people were dissatisfied with the court ruling but accepted it in the interest of peace.

The elder statesman further accused Wike of trying to control both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State. He claimed Wike was supporting candidates from different political parties while still attempting to maintain influence over the state’s politics.

Sara-Igbe said Rivers people should be allowed to freely choose their leaders without pressure or political interference. He warned that the continued struggle for control could weaken Wike’s standing in both the APC and PDP.

In his words, “They still allowed you to have your way, and yet you are not satisfied. So go with your structure, cook your structure, and eat your structure.”
