Panic at Swiss Train Station as Man Shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ Att@cks 3 People in Front of Schoolchildren


A man reportedly shouting “Allahu Akbar” caused panic at a Swiss train station on Thursday morning after att@cking three people in front of schoolchildren in what authorities later described as a “heinous act of t+rrorism.”


According to Zurich Cantonal Police, the suspect, a 31-year-old Turkish-Swiss citizen, carried out the att@ck shortly after 8:30 a.m. at the Winterthur train station near Zurich.


A witness told local outlet Blick that the man shouted “Allahu Akbar” several times in an emotional and agitated manner before st@bbing three men with a bladed w+apon.


The victims, aged 28, 43, and 52, sustained varying inj¥ries during the incident. Police said the 52-year-old underwent emergency s¥rgery after suffering a serious thigh inj¥ry.


The 43-year-old, who sustained a neck inj¥ry, has since been discharged from the hospital, while the 28-year-old victim is also expected to recover soon.


Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect as frightened commuters and schoolchildren watched the incident unfold.


Authorities say investigations into the motive behind the att@ck are ongoing.
