I Await FG’s Approval To Flush Out Criminals From South-West Forests — Sunday Igboho


Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, says he is awaiting Federal Government approval to begin operations aimed at removing terr+rists and other criminal elements from forests in the South-West.


He said his security group, Iru Ekun Security Network, is fully prepared to launch operations once it receives official clearance. According to him, all necessary documentation and requirements for approval have already been submitted to the Federal Government.


Igboho disclosed this in a statement on Monday, May 25, noting that the outfit is ready to work alongside security agencies to restore safety across the region.


He also confirmed his readiness to comply with the Oyo State Government’s Executive Order regulating private security organisations operating within the state.


“We have submitted all the required documents for our registered security firm, Iru Ekun Security Network, and are only waiting for the Federal Government approval which will be granted soon,” he said.


He added that the group is prepared to cooperate with the police, DSS, Nigerian Army, NSCDC, and other security agencies to “flush out terr+rists, k+dn@ppers, b@ndits, and other hoodlums, who are thr£atening the peace and safety of our people, most especially in rural communities.”
