What Siminalayi Fubara Should Do So That He Will Not Rely Excessively On External Influence - Ayodele

In a recent video on Facebook, prominent Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele issued a strong political warning concerning developments in Rivers State, urging Governor Siminalayi Fubara to take firm control of his leadership decisions.

Speaking during his early morning address, Ayodele expressed concern over what he described as growing dependence on external political influences within the state’s leadership structure. According to him, such reliance could undermine the governor’s authority and long-term political prospects.

“Fubara must take decisive action by himself and not rely excessively on external influence,” Ayodele said. “Failure to take control of his political decisions may lead to developments that can completely ruin his expectations and future in politics.”

The cleric’s statement comes amid ongoing political tensions and shifting alliances in Rivers State, where internal disagreements have continued to shape governance and public discourse.

Ayodele emphasized that leadership requires independence, clarity, and the courage to make difficult decisions without undue interference. He warned that hesitation or overdependence on political allies could expose the administration to instability.
