Atiku, Ameachi, and Kwankwaso Will Bury Their Personal Interest, To Make Sure We Rescue Power-Melaye
Dino Melaye has said that key opposition figures are ready to set aside their personal ambitions in order to work together ahead of the 2027 elections. Speaking during an interview on AIT News, he described the current situation in Nigeria as one of the toughest citizens have faced in recent times.
According to him, leaders such as Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Aminu Tambuwal are prepared to put the country first. He added that he is also willing to do the same if it means achieving a change in leadership.
Melaye pointed to insecurity as a major issue affecting everyone, regardless of political party. He explained that criminals do not care about whether someone belongs to one party or another, as all Nigerians face similar risks in their daily lives, including when going to markets or traveling.
He also suggested that many people who once supported the current administration are now unhappy with the state of things. He raised concerns about both security and the economy, saying these challenges are becoming more serious.
In his words, “Atiku is burying in personal interest, Obi is going to bury his personal interest, Ameachi Is going to bury his personal interest, Kwankwaso will bury his personal interest, Tambul, I, Dino, will bury my personal interest to make sure that we rescue power.”
