Video: Governor Fubara Urges APC South-South Leaders to Embrace Unity


Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has called on leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-South to remain united in order to strengthen the party’s chances ahead of the 2027 elections.


Speaking at the APC South-South Zonal Congress in Asaba, Governor Fubara emphasized that unity and a shared purpose are key to achieving electoral success. He expressed confidence in the newly elected zonal leadership, urging them to rise to the demands of their responsibilities.


The congress, which drew top party figures, also witnessed the re-election of zonal leaders by consensus and their immediate inauguration. 


Governor Fubara commended the Delta State Government for hosting the event and expressed optimism about the region’s political future.
