Amaechi:Fubara Is Just Managing Himself, Maybe They’ll Have Mercy On Him For Him To Come In 2027-Ojo

During a recent interview, Jackson Ojo shared his thoughts on the attack on the convoy of Rotimi Amaechi in Rivers State. He expressed concern over how the situation was handled, especially by the current governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

In a video shared by SYMFONI TV, Ojo suggested that the governor may be acting carefully because of political pressure. According to him, Fubara might be trying not to upset powerful individuals who could influence his political future, particularly his chances in the 2027 elections. This, he believes, could be the reason the governor has not openly spoken against the attack.

He also explained that even if the governor is unhappy about what happened, fear of creating more problems for himself might be holding him back from speaking out. Ojo added that the people responsible for the attack are likely not supporters of either Amaechi or the ADC political party.

Furthermore, he stressed that the state government should have responded officially to such a serious incident. He believes that remaining silent in situations like this can send the wrong message and may allow tensions to grow.

In his words, “Sim is just managing himself, and trying to satisfy the power that be, maybe they will have mercy upon him, in order for him to come in 2027, so he would not condemn anything.”
