Rivers:Governor Fubara Has Shown Wike That He Is Smarter Than Him, Why Is Wike Disturbing Him?-Ayiga

Comrade Musa Ayiga, a retired civil servant, has spoken about the conflict between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and former Governor Nyesom Wike. He stated that when Nyesom Wike was Governor of Rivers State, he did not allow anyone to undermine his authority.

In an interview with Trust TV, Ayiga stated that Wike openly abused former President Muhammadu Buhari when he was a governor. He said despite this, Wike was given the freedom to operate as governor.

Ayiga questioned why Wike is now interfering with Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s administration. He said that Governor Fubara has now shown Wike that he is smarter than him

In Ayiga’s words: “When Wike was in charge, he never allowed anybody to tamper with Rivers State, not even the president then. Because Buhari was so calm, so quiet, a peaceful man, may his soul rest in peace. Wike was abusing Buhari even as a president and they gave him free hand as the governor to operate. Nobody disturbed him. Why is he now disturbing the present governor? Now the present governor has shown him that he is smarter than him”
