In a recent video on Facebook, Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has released a new prophetic message declaring June 26 as a spiritually significant date for the nation. He urged Nigerians to prepare for what he described as a moment of divine ownership and national transformation driven by events he believes will unfold around that period.

Speaking during a prophetic session, Ayodele stated that the country will experience an unusual spiritual shift on that date. “June 26 is a year that Nigeria will be owned by God. It’s a year that Nigeria will move closer to God than ever because a lot of things are expected to happen in June 26,” he said, emphasising that the day carries profound implications for the nation’s direction.

“Let’s all commit 2026 in the eyes of God. Especially the 140 days in 2026 is not going to be same way Nigerians are expecting. 140 days in 2020 in 2026 is not going to be a very very easy easy moment for Nigerians.”

He called on citizens to deliberately mark the date with prayers and reflection, insisting that national unity and spiritual focus will be critical. “Let’s all commemorate June 26 in the hands of God,” he urged, adding that Nigerians must recognise the divine significance he associates with the period.

Ayodele also hinted that the events surrounding the date, particularly a two-week window, may unfold differently from what many expect. “Especially the one 14 days in June 26 is not going to be the same way Nigerians are expecting,” he stated, suggesting that surprising developments—both spiritual and national—may emerge.
