Isaac Fayose Reacts As Ayo Fayose Accuse Him Of Attacking Him & His Friends Like Wike, Gov Oyebanji
Isaac Fayose, businessman and younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has pushed back against claims that he has been deliberately attacking his brother or his brother’s political allies.
In a video posted on his Facebook page on Saturday, November 29, 2025, Isaac addressed comments made in a recent interview where Ayo Fayose suggested that his younger sibling was attempting to intimidate him and undermine some of his close associates, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
Responding to the allegations, Isaac insisted that his remarks about governance in Ekiti State and the Federal Capital Territory were not personal attacks but reflections of his concerns as a stakeholder.
He argued that being the brother of a former governor does not disqualify him from airing his opinions on matters that affect citizens.
He explained that as a native of Ekiti State, he has legitimate grounds to comment on the leadership and development trajectory of the state.
According to him, he has the same rights as any other resident to question government performance, raise issues of underdevelopment, and call on elected officials to fulfill their duties.
Ekiti is my home,” he said. “The fact that I am related to a former governor does not mean I should stay silent. I have every right to talk about what is happening in our state the challenges, the projects that are not being delivered, and the concerns of ordinary people.”
Isaac also defended his criticisms of the administration of the FCT, explaining that they stem from his personal and financial interests in Abuja.
He noted that he has invested heavily in the capital city, which gives him a direct stake in how it is run.
With Nyesom Wike serving as FCT Minister, he said it is only reasonable for him to raise questions about policies or decisions that affect residents and investors.
Speaking further in the video, Isaac addressed his brother directly, saying: “My attention has been drawn to your interview claiming that I am intimidating you or targeting your friends. That is not the truth. You mentioned Wike and Governor Oyebanji. Oyebanji is my governor just as he is yours. I have every right to tell my governor, ‘Sir, you are not delivering enough; we need better governance. What is happening with the people’s resources?’”
He maintained that his comments were strictly civic in nature and should not be interpreted as attempts to undermine anyone personally.
According to him, offering frank opinions on public affairs is part of the democratic process and should not cause friction within families or political circles.
“I am not attacking you. I am not attacking your friends. I am simply talking about public matters that concern me and many others,” he said, adding that his priority is advocating for better governance, not creating conflict.
