‘I Bankrolled Tinubu’s 2023 Campaign with #756 Million Personal Funds’ - Mc Olu-Omo
Musiliu Akinsanya, the National Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) better known as MC Oluomo, has disclosed that he single-handedly spent ₦756 million of his personal money to support President Bola Tinubu’s successful 2023 presidential bid.
In a video that has rapidly spread across social media, the influential transport union leader said he received no financial backing from the federal capital, Abuja, and detailed how the funds were deployed.
“I paid for 140 hotel rooms at ₦45,000 per night for four straight months, plus daily stipends for all the campaign workers,” MC Oluomo stated.
“Everything came from my pocket.”Looking ahead, he declared that preparations are already underway for the 2027 election, pledging unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu and vowing to deliver another victory.
“No distraction, no retreat. We are fully committed to ensuring Asiwaju returns in 2027,” he affirmed.
