5 Powerful People Behind Terrorism, Gumi Shouldn’t Be Allow To Represent Govt For Any Reason-Ayodele

According to a report by Nigerian Tribune, on Saturday November 29, 2025, a religious leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has raised concerns about the growing insecurity in Nigeria.

He said that five powerful individuals are allegedly supporting terrorism and kidnapping across the country.

Primate Ayodele said the government must act fast to identify and stop these individuals.

He warned that the nation will continue to suffer violent attacks if these people remain active.

He stressed that the security situation is getting worse because those involved in the crisis are not slowing down.

According to him, the federal government needs a stronger and more coordinated approach to fight terrorism.

He said that the current efforts are not enough to match the growing network of criminals.

The cleric added that the kidnappers have become more confident and organised because of weak responses from authorities.

He advised President Bola Tinubu to avoid any form of negotiation with terrorists.

He said that some people who promote negotiation are making the situation worse.

He urged the president to caution those who publicly advocate dialogue with criminals because such actions encourage more violence.

Primate Ayodele warned that continuous negotiation gives terrorists more power.

He noted that negotiation has turned kidnapping and terrorism into a business where criminals expect financial rewards.

He said that the president may face political consequences if insecurity continues to rise.

“Five powerful people are involved in this kidnapping matter that the government must try to identify and take out of the way; otherwise, the nation will continue to be at the mercy of terrorism. People like Gumi shouldn’t be allowed to represent the government for any reason,” he said.
