Tinubu: No Need To Waste Energy On Amaechi, Omehia Ahead of the 2027 Election - Solomon Abuba

 

A Rivers State chairmanship candidate has assured “President Bola Tinubu that he should not waste time worrying about Rotimi Amaechi and Celestine Omehia ahead of the 2027 general elections.” He said the Renewed Hope family and Ikwerre political leaders already have the structure and strength to silence them at the polls.

In a video on Symfoni TV, the candidate said all 13 wards of Ikwerre Local Government have pledged full support for the APC, from councillorship to chairmanship, and that they have started early preparations to deliver total victory in 2027. He explained that the political base of Amaechi and Omehia in Ikwerre had collapsed, as both men had consistently lost there since 2015, and nothing would change in the next election

He told Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to focus their attention on bigger national opponents such as Atiku Abubakar and David Mark, while assuring that Ikwerre leaders will crush any influence Amaechi and Omehia may try to wield within Rivers. He further said that their defeat in 2027 would be so decisive that it would finally retire them from politics.

The candidate added that the people of Ikwerre are firmly behind Wike and Tinubu’s leadership, describing the 2027 chairmanship election as a done deal. He said capable leaders are already on ground to deliver victory and bring progress to the local government. According to him, the APC has united structures, grassroots loyalty, and renewed confidence that guarantees success.
