Wike, Fayose, Saraki are gone; PDP is dying gradually - Primate Elijah Ayodele

Renowned Nigerian cleric and spiritual leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has raised alarm over the future of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), declaring that the opposition party is on the verge of collapse.

In a prophetic message shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Ayodele said, “Where are the lives of Wike, Fayose, Saraki in PDP? They’re no more. The party is dying gradually.”

According to the cleric, the silence or absence of key political figures such as Nyesom Wike, Ayodele Fayose, and Bukola Saraki is contributing to the party’s deteriorating influence and organizational strength across the country. He warned that unless swift action is taken, the PDP may completely lose its relevance by the 2027 general elections.

Ayodele’s comments reflect growing public concerns over the PDP’s internal disunity, recurring defections, and its apparent failure to pose a viable challenge to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). The cleric noted that the exodus or disengagement of these political heavyweights is symbolic of a broader crisis within the party.

Observers believe that Ayodele’s prophecy is not only spiritual but also a reflection of current political realities. The PDP has faced persistent setbacks since losing power in 2015, struggling to maintain cohesion amid factional disputes and ideological inconsistencies.

Ayodele warned that if leaders within the PDP fail to put their personal ambitions aside and focus on rebuilding the party, it may soon fade from Nigeria’s political landscape. He called for urgent reorganization, emphasizing that without unity and renewed strategic focus, the PDP will not survive the coming political storms.

His prophetic remarks have sparked widespread reaction online, with many users echoing the sentiment that the PDP’s presence in national politics has dwindled over the years. Others criticized the party's leadership for failing to evolve and adapt to new political realities.

Ayodele, known for making political predictions that often attract national attention, has repeatedly warned of challenges facing major political parties. His latest warning to the PDP is seen as both a spiritual insight and a political wake-up call.
