Nyesom Wike’s SSA Reacts After Dele Momodu Wrongly Congratulated Ibrahim Babangida’s Son

Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike recently reacted after former PDP Chieftain and Ovation Magazine Publisher, Chief Dele Momodu wrongly congratulated Muhammad Babangida, a son to General Ibrahim Babangida. 

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out amid sarcasm that Dele Momodu was not a seasoned journalist.

Muhammad Babangida, a son to former military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida caused a stir after he declined a political appointment from president Tinubu’s government.

The renowned politician was appointed as the Chairman of the Bank of Agriculture, however, he politely turned down the offer in a now viral letter which had garnered traction across various social media platforms.

However, Dele Momodu, a former Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and former close associate to FCT minister, Nyesom Wike committed a blunder by sending a congratulatory message to Muhammad Babangida, wishing him the best on his new appointment.

Reacting, Lere Olayinka, the special adviser on media to the former Rivers State governor and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, mocked Dele Momodu for the blunder.

This came amid the ongoing feud between the Ovation Magazine Publisher and his former close ally, Nyesom Wike. According to his statements, Chief Dele Momodu was not a seasoned journalist.

“I kuku talk am say Egbon Dele Momodu no be journalist.” He sarcastically wrote.
