Oshiomhole did not know the two ladies he used were not on the flight - Adeyemi
Ayodeji Adeyemi, Operations Manager at Air Peace, has provided clarification on the recent altercation involving Senator Adams Oshiomhole and some passengers at the airport. In an interview with Channels Television,
Adeyemi revealed that two women seen engaging with Senator Oshiomhole during the confrontation were not booked on the disputed 6:30 a.m. flight on June 12, 2025.
Adeyemi stated that the women had no boarding passes or reservations for that particular flight. One of them, accompanied by a baby, was only inquiring about the possibility of boarding an earlier flight than the one she had initially booked. However, neither she nor her child held valid tickets for the 6:30 a.m. departure. To back up this claim, Adeyemi mentioned that the airline had provided documentation confirming their ticket records.
He further explained that the women became involved in the incident after spotting Senator Oshiomhole at the airport. His conduct reportedly climbing over a conveyor belt and leading a protest, attracted attention and, according to Adeyemi, influenced the women to join in. He concluded by saying the women were “spoiled” or swayed by Oshiomhole’s actions, despite having no legitimate claim regarding the delayed flight.
