Shehu Sani Reacts After Senate Suspended Natasha Akpoti, Withdrew Her Allowances For Six Months

 

Nigerian activist and former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X account on Thursday to react after the senate approved the committee’s recommendation that Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan should be suspended from all legislative activities.

This came after the senator representing Kogi Central submitted a petition accusing the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio of harassing her.

According to The Cable, the senate also approved that the office of senator Natasha Akpoti should be locked throughout the entire duration of the suspension and all allowances should be withdrawn.

Reacting to the report, Senator Shehu Sani shared a post in which he spoke about some of the things that will happen to a senator that’s suspended by the senate.

The former Kaduna lawmaker said it is sad that he predicted the matter between the Senate President and the Kogi lawmaker will get to that level.

According to Senator Shehu Sani on his official X account;

“Sadly, I predicted it will come to this level”.
