BREAKING: Former Presidential Spokesperson Doyin Okupe Dies at 72

 

Dr. Doyin Okupe, a respected physician, politician, and former presidential aide, has passed away at the age of 72.

Family sources reveal that Okupe had been critically ill in the weeks leading up to his death, with his health deteriorating significantly.

According to Sahara Reporters, he succumbed to cancer after a prolonged battle with the disease.

In October 2023, the platform reported that Okupe had been hospitalized with prostate cancer and was flown to Israel for treatment. However, his condition failed to improve as he and his family had hoped.

Okupe was first diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago and later developed sarcoma in his right shoulder.
