Akpabio: Go Natasha, Voice Out Your Frustration, My Advice Is That, Be A Bad Girl- Betty Anyanwu

The former First Lady of Ondo state, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu has advised the senator representing Kogi Central at the National Assembly, Senator Natasha Akpoti to voice out her frustration for the world to know what She’s going through.

She made the statement in a post that she shared on her official X account on Wednesday.

This is coming following the disagreement between Natasha Akpoti and the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio over seating arrangement at the National Assembly.

In the post that Betty Anyanwu made on her page, she accused the leadership of the National Assembly of trying to silence the voice of women. She said both the FCT senator, Ireti Kingibe and Natasha Akpoti have been under several attacks since they got into the House. She said it is obvious that men are not ready to shift for women to partake in governance.

Here is what she wrote on her official X handle;

“Go Natasha, voice out your frustration for the whole world to know what the few female legislators are going through in Nigeria. My advice: be a bad girl! Be Mille Odiambo!”.

The altercation btw the Senate President, Akpabio and Senator Natasha vindicates our position that men in this country are not willing to “shift” for our women to

partake in the governance of Nigeria. This assemblage of “Boys Brigade “ at the national and state assemblies wants to provoke us to justify their archaic held belief that women lack emotional temperament required for high political office. HELL NO! IT WONT WORK THIS TIME!! Now, we know why we don’t hear our female legislators talk. We don’t
