Police seal Edo deputy governor’s office

The office of the Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu, located on Osadebe Avenue, Benin, was sealed off by police on Sunday. 

This office was his new location after being relocated from the Government House due to ongoing tension with Governor Godwin Obaseki.

 A police truck with mounted machine guns and officers was positioned outside the gate, preventing access. Staff members were instructed to report to the John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Agency (JOOPSA) starting Friday.
