Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno has released 4.755 Billion Naira for payment of gratuities, bonus for civil servants, wardrobe allowance for teachers etc.

The Governor said he is fulfilling his campaign promises of taking care of the cilvil servants and improving their well-being. That it's a key component of his ARISE Agenda.

Here is a Breakdown;

- 2.3 billion Naira for gratuities to retired state civil servants, primary school teachers, and local government workers.

- 1.1 billion Naira for a one-off Wardrobe Allowance payment for over 20,000 teachers.

- 1 billion Naira for bonuses to public service workers, as promised during the Public Service Week.

- ⁠79 million Naira for scholarships for Akwa Ibom indigenes at the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology.

- 104 million Naira as the first tranche payment for the 2024 primary school teachers' Leave Grant.

- 172 million Naira as severance gratuity for former local government council Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen.
