Tinubu presents N27.5trn 2024 appropriation bill to National Assembly

President Bola Tinubu presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly on Wednesday.

The president proposes spending N27.5 trillion for the fiscal year 2024, which he has urged the National Assembly to evaluate and approve.

Tinubu’s budget is his first after his election and inauguration as president on May 29.

The budget is N7 trillion larger than his predecessor Muhammadu Buhari’s record N20.5 trillion budget submitted before the joint session of the National Assembly in 2022.
