After Tinubu’s intervention, Aiyedatiwa presides over Ondo exco meeting

 

The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, is currently presiding over the State Executive Council meeting as the council’s Vice Chairman.

The executive meeting is coming after months of political wrangling between the deputy governor and loyalists of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu summoned the warring factions last Friday to a meeting in Abuja, where it was agreed that the deputy governor should continue to perform his duties as deputy governor.

The exco meeting currently being held is an indication that the political impasse in the state may have come to an end.

Details of the agenda at the meeting are still unknown as of the time of filing this report.
