Ministerial nominees: Wike arrives NASS for screening

 

Former governor of Rivers Nyesom Wike has arrived at the National Assembly for his ministerial screening.

Along with his wife and a few party supporters, Wike came at the National Assembly.

News Agency reports that the Senate will commence the screening of Ministerial nominees today.

No fewer than 20 out of 28 nominees have completed their documentation ahead of the screening, a National Assembly source said.

Wike, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was part of the first set of ministerial nominees President Tinubu forwarded to the Senate last Thursday.
