Wreckage from titanic sub recovered : video

The remains of the doomed Titan submersible, thought to have imploded while on an expedition to view the Titanic shipwreck, have been recovered and brought to the surface.

Large sections of Titan’s hull were brought ashore in Newfoundland, Canada on Wednesday, along with landing skids and the vessel’s rear cover.

The US Coast Guard also announced that ‘presumed human remains’ had been discovered near the wreckage and will be brought to the US for analysis.

An investigation is now underway into what has officially been declared a ‘major marine casualty,’ while maritime officials say they will issue a report aimed at improving the safety of submersibles worldwide.
