Abia gov suspends HOS, all Permanent Secretaries

Few days after the inauguration of the Judicial Panel of Inquiry on the Recovery of Properties and Funds belonging to Abia State Government, Governor Alex Otti, has suspended the Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries in the State civil service.

In a Press release by the Chief Press to the Governor, Kazie Ukoh the Governor consequently approved the appointment of a Director in the Ministry of Education, Joy Maduka as the Acting Head of Service.

According to the release, all the Permanent Secretaries except the Clerk of the House, John Pedro Iroakazi and Solicitor General,Uzoamaka Uche Ikonne are to hand over to the most senior Director in their respective Ministries, Departments and Agencies
